Q. What is my Date Link Networks profile?
A. Your profile is the collection of information that allows other members to determine whether or not you are a possible match for them. It is important that your profile accurately and honestly reflect who you are. Your profile will be viewed, searched and possibly put on display. Take the time to describe yourself and what you are looking for in that special someone. Be sure to upload a profile picture to introduce your self to the Date Link Networks community! A profile picture is the ultimate "Hello"! You also have two photo galleries where you can store your additional photos. One is your public photo gallery and the other is only accessible to those whom you allow, this is your Backstage gallery.
Q. Is it necessary to complete my profile?
A. Yes! If you want to enjoy the full functionality of the site and use its feature rich search capabilities to the fullest, you must complete your profile. Until your profile is completed your personal profile will NOT be searchable. This means that there could be hundreds of members looking for someone just like you, but they will have no way of finding you! So be sure to complete your profile. It's fast, easy and a fun way to meet new people.
Q. How do I make changes to my profile?
A.

You have two ways to reach the profile editor, where you can make changes to your profile information:

1. Click MY ACCOUNT, click My Profile, click EDIT. You can now make your changes.

2. If you only have a few minor changes to make, go to MY PROFILE you can edit there. Your profile will be opened in the profile editor. Just fill in the information and click continue until you're finished. Your profile is not complete until you click the SUBMIT at the bottom of the page.
Q. What if I do not want to chose some of the selections in the profile creation process?
A. The profile creation application will prompt you to fill in required fields. Anything else can be left blank. However, too many blanks will make it difficult for some searches to find you. It is best to select the choices that are closest to your answer and write a detailed description about yourself in the Narrative box.
Q. I found changes to my profile that I did not make, what happened?
A. Date Link Networks takes your privacy very seriously. However, in the interest of the Date Link Networks community, we will not allow any obscene material or information in members' profiles. If we are unable to contact you immediately to remove such material from your profile. Pursuant to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, we reserve the right to make changes to any users' profiles and remove such content. To the best of our ability, we will make every effort to contact you and ask that you remove the material yourself.
Q. How can I see another Date Link Networks member's profile?
A.

There are multiple ways that you can view the profiles of other Date Link Networks members.

1. SEARCH: Go to SEARCH NOW, and either enter the search criteria to find the user or, if you know it, the user's Name. Once you have located the user, click on the user's NAME in the search result, not the user's comment. This will allow you to contact the user and view any additional photos they may have in their public photo gallery.

2. INTERNAL EMAIL: If you receive an internal email message from another user and wish to view his/her profile, simply click on the user's NAME in the INBOX folder. This open's the user's profile for you.

3. HOME: Click on Home in the upper left corner of the site.
Under Members you have: You can enter a profile from any one of the three areas emailed, hot listed, or viewed.

Example: Click on emailed it brings up everyone you have emailed. Then click on the user name or photo and you will go to their profile.

Also under Members who have emailed or hot listed you can get to their profile by clicking on the user name or photo.
