How to Manage
Click on My Mailbox.
INBOX
Click on Inbox. When you have a message in your inbox you can click on Senders user name and you can see their profile. You can click on subject to delete or reply to that person.
COMPOSE
Click on Compose. First contact? It's easy! Just let this person know what caught your eye, and what makes their profile special. Don't forget to personalize the subject line, then click Send.
Reminder: Emails from your external email account (i.e. Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc) WILL NOT be delivered to any username. This email system is private and is limited to within the Date Link Networks site.
CONTACT
Click on Contact. Click on User Name you can view their profile. Then you have the option to remove, block, or unblock. You can also send an email.
SETTINGS
Click on Settings. You can choose the following actions:
  • Contact Settings: Allow or Deny members to contact you

  • Message Settings: You can save all outgoing messages or copy all messages

  • Notification Settings: You can check one or all three notification settings
SENT MESSAGES
This is where your sent messages are kept.

Q. How do I block a user from contacting me?
A. Visit the member's profile, and click on the "block this member" link below the photo.
Q. What types of blocking are available to me at this site?
A. You can prevent members from sending you email or showing interest in your profile. You also can block members using Date Link Networks Messenger to chat with you directly.
Q. What is email history?
A. Your email history helps you organize and review recent communication with other members. With one quick click, you can sort your emails by date, username or type. Note: We preserve your privacy by not recording the actual text of your conversation, and only the last 30 days of emails (up to 100 sent and 100 received) appear in your list.
Q. Can I delete email from my history?
A. No, your history displays your recent email activity.

A. Only the last 30 days of emails (up to 100 sent and 100 received) appear in your list.
Q. Is there a time limitation for the email history?
A. Emails are saved from the past 30 days.
Q. Do I have to be a subscriber to have email history?
A. No, you may view the history of emails you've received. Remember, though, that you'll need to subscribe to reply or send messages of your own.
Q. Do I have to sign in to access my email history?
A. Yes, you must sign in to view your email history.
Q. Why are there emails in my email history that I never received?
A. Your email history records all email sent to you through the Date Link Networks system. If you do not recognize emails in your list, its possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may have experienced technical difficulties and not delivered your messages.
Q. How do I get to my email history?
A. Go there now or click the Email History link always available on My Date Link Networks.
Q. How are the emails I send to other members anonymous?
A. Date Link Networks uses a completely internal email system so that we never reveal any private information that you do not wish to reveal yourself.

Sending anonymous email.
One way to contact members is by clicking the "email me" link in their profiles. The other way is to address your email to username@DateLinkNetworks.com, inserting the intended recipients username. Note: You only can send anonymous email from the address you gave us when you signed up.
Q. Why is the email I sent being returned to me?
A. If the email you sent is returned, the problem could be:
  • You're sending your email to a username that doesn't exist. Be sure to check your spelling.
  • The person you are trying to contact is no longer an Date Link Networks member.
  • You're trying to send your email from a different address than the one you signed up with.
  • You are not an Date Link Networks subscriber.
Q. I received an email from another member. Do I have to subscribe to Date Link Networks to reply?
A. Yes, you must subscribe to Date Link Networks to respond to email or strike up conversations with other members.
Q. How do I unblock members?
A. Visit your Block Member page, select the members you'd like to hear from and press Unblock.
Q. Can I still contact someone on my block list?
A. Yes, you can contact someone you've block, but they won't be able to respond until you unblock them.
